i have a question regarding backup tool in cpanel. The backup size is added to an account quota so what happens when i have a 3 gb account full and then run a backup on it? an account will be 3 gb over its quota .. will it be suspended ?

Accounts are not suspended for disk overage unless it becomes apparent that something is continually being exploited to store more data than they have purchased. In your case, the full disk quota would simply mean that you would not be able to receive e-mail on the domain, etc. Also, keep in mind that the backup may not even create properly if enough free disk spacec isnt available. -
so it is possible that i will not be able to back up an account used almost in full ?
