    Email account (setting up/accessing)

I was looking through the my files visa FTP and noticed one that said 'mail' - I clicked on it and inside there appeared to be numerous emails sent to various extensions of my domain: sales@mydomain administrator@mydomain, numerous is probably the wrong word but there were a few. I've never set up a mail account, though - so I was wondering if these accounts are already created and if so, how do I access them? There was a mail link in my cpanel but it didn't seem to lead to anywhere that allowed me to, well, do anything.

Is email the kind of thing you have to have added on by submitting a trouble ticket, if so should I be alarmed that I am already receiving mail and have about ten different extensions off my domain? If not, how would I go about setting up, say, me@mydomain.com?

On creation of cpanel accoount, default emailbox is created and all incoming mail forwarded to that mailbox.

      Thanks for the info.

One follow-up question, how would I access this account? Is there an address for the mailbox and log-in info that I can use?

yes, to access pop3, use username and password for that cpanel account.
