Is PHP 5 running on the older servers?

I am currently being hosted Cpanel 27 and Cpanel 30 and was wondering if PHP 5 was installed on these servers. If it is installed, how do we run our scripts through PHP 5? If it is not installed, what are the chances of having it installed?

I noticed on the Dathorn home page that both PHP 4 and PHP 5 are offered with new hosting plans and wondered if we have that as well. In particular, I plan to use XML with some of my scripts and wanted to use the improved functionality that PHP 5 offers for XML.

It is not available on those servers. See http://forums.dathorn.com/showthread.php?t=2168

Thanks, yes, I saw that thread earlier. So, what are the chances of getting it installed on at least one of those servers?

If not, is there any chance I could migrate one of my accounts to either cpanel 38 or 39?

All servers are being upgraded to the new server platform based on need. cpanel26 is next, beyond that we're not sure. We do not transfer customers between servers.

Okay, I plan to cancel one of my existing accounts and sign up for a new account. Is this alright? I don't see any other way to get PHP 5.

That's entirely up to you if you wish to do that.
