    problem with a .shtml include ?

    Hey all,

    Hoping someone can steer me in the right direction.

    I transferred a website to my Dathorn Reseller account and in has a line of code in the index.html which is :
    <!--#include virtual="/head.shtml" -->

    Intended to include the head file which includes the logo etc. Worked on the other host and I can't figure out why this doesn't show. I'm sure it's something simple, like turning something on in the WHM, but...

    Appreciate any help you all can offer.

    Are there any good easy to understand CSS instructions online?

    Many Thanks,
    Corky

    If you are trying to use a ssi include on a .html page, you will have to create a .htaccess file in your public_html directory. Inside it put:

    Code:
    AddHandler server-parsed .html
    I'm pretty sure that should work?

    The other option is to rename index.html to index.shtml.
