The Customer Control Panel is crappy. Period.

Sorry, but i'm highly frustrated right now. This thing (control panel) has been working since i've been with dathorn (almost two years), why does it keep giving me this "Please enter your login information" message while navigating the control panel over and over and over?

It's like as if i'm trying my luck to reach the "open ticket" link without it sending me back for no reason to re-enter my login information. And when i did open the ticket form and wrote my compliant about a billing issue, it sends me back to re-enter my information right after i submit! i've entered my login information over 30 times now !!! ANNOYING !!!

Andrew please do something about this. I need to solve this billing problem ASAP before my account goes down!

    p.s: yes, cookies are enabled.

I've solved my billing issue, so i don't need to go through that nightmare anymore.

The billing control panel is working smoothly by the way. I just noticed that i can pay my bills directly from there instead of waiting it to auto-charge my card. Useful.

The problem that you are describing will occur when you are on a connection that does not give you a consistent IP between page views. This is commonly a problem when connecting using a cell phone but I'm sure there are others.

FYI, this should no longer be a problem.

Actually Andrew, the problem still exist. And i'm on an ADSL connection, my IP most of the time is the same. Even file sharing web sites recognize me after a few hours of coming back. So please, do something about it.

This would not be IP related then if it is in fact still occurring.

What browser are you using? Have you tried using a different one?

The CCP does not use cookies or anything, it will simply pass your session ID from page to page. Something would have to be interfering with that in order for it to keep logging you out.

I'm using Firefox 2.0. I've tried Internet Explorer 6, but i get the same error. I'm using the same browser, same ISP and same connection i used to use before. This issue showed up around a month or two ago, but it didn't annoy me until i actually needed to go into the control panel yesterday to submit a ticket.

Did you add a new "security suite" like Norton Internet Security? Or update a subscription? They will sometimes block session ID cookies. If you did add one, go into the config for that program and add "dathorn.com" as an allowed site.
