Moving account to another server

Hi,

I am trying to use the Full Backup feature in my CPanel to move a site to another server.

I transfer the whole backup via FTP, and the backup file gets to the new server but when the new server admins try to unpackage and install it they get an error message.

This is what they get:

Extracting tarball...................
Done

Extracting Domain....Done

Sorry, the copy failed. Unable to find the cpanel user file. Is the archive missing (cwd: /home/cprestore loaded backup-1.9.2008_11-32-52_larejoda/cp/larejoda)?
checked 31 files.....

What might the problem be?
Is there any other way of moving a site to another server?

We can't provide much support in helping you transfer accounts to a server that we don't operate

It could be several problems really. Perhaps your upload didn't complete perfectly. Maybe there was not enough free space on the account to generate a backup. Maybe the backup didn't even fully get generated and the process got killed because it had been run during a peak time.

my account is almost full... so that might be the problem right?

That is a possibility. If you would like us to create a full backup for you just submit a ticket and give us the domain's username.
