    Suspended accounts - exact behaviour?

    Hello,

I feel kind of uneasy asking such a question, but anyway... what is the exact way the suspended accounts work on Dathorn? E.g. suppose we have a domain name which has few mailboxes and few forwarders set up. I realize that the POP access is deactivated, but are the e-mails going to be bounced or accumulated in the mailboxes until the account is reactivated (and the question same for the forwarders, are the e-mails going to be lost, bounced or delivered)?

In case you are wondering I am asking because I host some private e-mail accounts on one of my clients accounts and they are having problems with their CC not being processed. I've got in touch with them, but well, it will take a few days to deal with. And few days w/o e-mail is kind of scary.

Seems like it's time to open a private account was planning to do this later next year... Ah well.

E-mail continues to function as if the domain was still active. E-mail is still delivered to e-mail accounts and e-mail is still forwarded by forwarders. Though, as you noted, you cannot actually access the e-mail accounts during suspension.

OK, that's something that cheers me up. So eventually no mail will be lost and I will be able to recover it as soon as they solve their CC problems and pay the outstanding bills.

Thank you very much for your support!
