I've noticed Ruby stuff in the Cpanel for some time now. The only information I can find says that Andrew was getting ready to enable it after removing PHP4. Did this occur? Is there an updated time frame for the Ruby deployment?

To be honest, we've been focusing on much larger projects. We've been doing a lot of work behind the scenes (some announcements to come) and there are a lot more changes (significant improvements) coming over the next several months. Our migration from Apache to LiteSpeed is just the beginning. At this point we're focusing on projects that have a very wide impact and provide the most overall benefits to all customers.
Ultimately we've had very little demand for Ruby (oR) which makes it hard to justify the significant overhead incurred by offering it. Now that we've fully migrated to LiteSpeed we need to dig deeper into their implementation of it which may turn out to be a more reasonable solution.Comment
