Has anyone used wkhtmltopdf on dathorn servers (http://code.google.com/p/wkhtmltopdf/)? I can't get the binary they provide to work here and am wondering if anyone else has had any luck. When I download the binary and save it to my bin folder and then run it I get this error:
wkhtmltopdf google.com google.pdf
Fontconfig error: Cannot load default config file
Loading pages (1/5)
Resolving links (2/5)
Counting pages (3/5)
Printing pages (5/5)
Done
The binary used is wkhtmltopdf-0.9.9-static-amd64.tar.bz2
Everything I've read says that the Fontconfig error means that the binary won't work and that I'd have to compile it myself, which I can't do here.
Is this something that the nice staff at Dathorn could compile for me or figure out how to make work? LMK and I'll file a ticket
