late night slow downs(cpanel 30)

i'm on cpanel 30 and i and others have noticed the server really slowing down after approximately 11:00 pm pt. this slow down continues for hours - i've seen it go at least as late as 2:00am pt. during that time i've received timeouts and sluggish performance. this applies to domains, cpanel, and whm.

this slow down only occurs late at night.

is anyone else experiencing this or know anything about it?

Backups run at that time which are likely causing the issues you've mentioned. This will likely continue occuring until the server is upgraded to our new system.
