It might - give it a try.

I'm confused though - there are binary builds for Win32/OSX/OS2 etc. Why would you not just run your files through it locally?

I have a CMS where people enter content using HTMarea. I want to use Tidy to clean up the code this editor produces.

Ahhh ... got it. Good plan. I had been running stuff through it locally and then uploading it.

I've never used the *nix binaries, but have built it from source (BSD) - as close as I can figure it's pretty much standalone and can be called from anywhere.

So I can upload it on the server and it will run, or it has to be in the bin directory of the server I am hosted?

            I'd suggest submitting a ticket,
not only to get that answer, but also
to find out if this is allowed peroid.
