    Real Time Streaming Protocol

    Hi,
    First, i wanna know if Dathorn support this protocol cause one of my clients asked about it, i heard about it but have no idea how it works.
    And can he install it into his website or is it something have to be added to the main server from the server webmaster, and it will be very helpfull if someone can tell me how to install it as will

    i guess he meant how to have a media link appears like this rtsp://www.domainname.com/media.rm

      dathorn does not support streaming
      The y would have to download the file and then play it locally on there PC

        Thanks for the fast reply
        In this case do file extintion that ends with .ram considered streaming ?
        For example, http://www.domainnae.com/media.rm and another file for listening or viewing as http://www.domainname.com/media.ram ?

          If you refer to your rm files with links in ram files, or refer to mp3 files with links in m3u, then, as far as the user can tell, you are streaming the file. It starts playing as soon as enough of it arrives on the client side to start playing. I have used Real Audio server and http streaming, and personally, I prefer http streaming.
