Im thinking about moving back to Dathorn. A couple q's though. I have a unix (.gz) back up of my sites for mysql. Will dathorn let me upload them and will it work. Also can you pay through paypal or is it credit card only? Thanks.

If the .tgz file was created using the cpanel backup system on another host, then it should work - it should restore the database content onto the new (dathorn server). The same goes for a home directory backup.

Credit card only, but paypal has a virtual credit card number that works just like a visa that you can use. Check with paypal.

              Darren,

As long as it came from a cpanel backup then it should still work.

Where exactly did you get the .gz file from?

Even if its not a cpanel backup file, you should be able to decompress it and then use SSH to import the database into MySQL manually.
