    cpanel 19 uptime

I was checking the uptime reports of some servers here at dathorn, and the most problematic server is cpanel 19 (the one im using).

    Check the report:

What is wrong with this server?
Its there any possibility to fix this?

If you have time, compare it to others like 18 or 20 or any, i have some troubles and some shouts with my clients because of that downtime.

Don't feel bad-- cPanel31 had 100% uptime for March, April, and May!

Rod, you might ask Andrew when it is scheduled for an upgrade. If its any consolation, my server is running great after the upgrade.

I always send an email to all my customers whenever I know there will be some downtime (Andrew announces planned downtime in the Announcements forum, which you can subscribe to). I also try to monitor my sites on the server so I can investigate as soon as it goes down, and then I email my customers with the downtime notice (trying to be proactive; it does save some phone calls!) There are a couple of free monitoring sites, including easymonitor.com and siteuptime.com (they can email you; I have the email going to my cell phone).

And guys, it doesn't do any good to say that "overall" the service here is great if his customers are on a server that is experiencing downtime. I can guarantee you his customers don't give a rat's patooti about the other servers in the data center.

Rat patooti, wish my customers used such nice language when their servers go down.
