    Changes on new servers

I just got transfered to the "new" cpanel 24 and found out pine is no longer available. Leaving aside the trouble that puts me in promising something to clients that later doesn't work anymore (with no warning).

Does anyone knows what else is NOT going to work? Aside from free backup Is it just shell stuff being dropped/restricted?

Shell will still be there, unless its something
new but I wouldn't know...As for pine, never heard of it

Backups, no longer free but better server performance.
Check FAQ forum (general I think) for info on the Backup stuff...

Pine is a text based mail and news client used from the shell (command line).

Paolo, Did you contact support about it not being there?

Maybe Pine is missing because someone was giving out shell accounts like nickle candy? Of course it's early and maybe I'm just miss reading that.

Pine is simply something that we do not offer on our RedHat Enterprise systems. It was a minor oversight that I forgot to bring up, no one else has had an issue until this point but I guess it was bound to happen one way or another.

Any other changes or droped software that we need to be aware of in RH enterprise?

              Not that I'm aware of.
