I tried searching around the forums, but didn't see any thread related to this subject... of course I could have searched for the wrong topic. But am I able to get a site with an SSL connection? So that I am able to connect to the site via http or https?

If you could point me to documentation or whatever that'd be great!

Search for just "SSL", and you'll get several links.

You install a SSL certificate in WHM, so if you have access to WHM, you can install a cert. See http://forums.dathorn.com/showthread.php?t=440 as an example. There are several others with more info, including the type of SSL cert to buy.
