is it me or mySQL on cpanel21 has been down for a couple of times?

on all of my websites:
Warning: mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.soc
it has started lile 2-3 days ago, sometimes sql is up, sometimes down

Apparently, this is a hardware issue and will not be fixed until the server is upgraded. I was told this will be done early next week.

Yes, it is due to some bad hardware in the machine that is causing file corruption and inevitably causes MySQL to die. Right now all software fixes that we are using only have a temporary effect. This will be fixed permanently when the server is upgraded to our new systems early next week.
