Possible to read the error log directly?

I'd like to use this Apache Easy Debug custom 500 error script: http://www.softcomplex.com/products/apache_easy_debug/

But it needs access to the error log. Is this possible with Dathorn?

AFAIK not under cPanel. The error log is kept in a directory owned by ROOT last time I checked: /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log

The reason for locking it away being there's only one error log for everyone AFAIK.
