can i interface my webpage with GeoIPFree

Awstats uses GeoIPFree plugin to determine country of visitors
based on the IP address.

Does anyone know how I might use GeoIPFree from my own webpage
to determine the country, so I can customize a page based on
country of origin?

This might help: The IP-to-Country Handbook Using a database would make a lot more sense than memoize of Geo-IPFree.

I think there are a few script at hotscripts.com, don't remember any free ones for php. The perl module Geo-IPFree is of course free just not sure it's appropriate for live traffic as I said.
