Drupal Installation

I would like to install the newest Drupal build (5.1) but Fantastico only has the 4.7.5 build. Is there a way to get it updated through Fantastico or install the newest build myself?

Any help would be appreciated.

Fantastico only offers Drupal 4.7.5 at this time. Whenever they update their installers it will automatically update on our servers. Given that Fantastico is a 3rd party installer it is impossible for them to keep up with the new versions at all times. There is a certain amount of lag time before the updated versions are available via Fantastico.

However, you can certainly install Drupal manually. They should have complete documentation on how to do this.

Thanks for the reply Andrew. Drupal does have installation guildes that go through the process, but how do I determine if I have command line access to do the install? Or do I have that option at all?

You do have SSH access to proceed with that if you wish. When you create an account via WHM if you select the "Shell" checkbox it will enable SSH on the account. For existing accounts you'll need to submit a ticket and have us enable it for you if necessary.
