Your script is configured to use invalid MySQL login information.
How could that be possible when I haven;t touched anything at all...
Besides, the error message says that it uses a name like 'dalaras' with no password and the script is configured to use a name like 'dalaras_nikolas' as a result of cpanel prefix, with a password.
Also, this error message looks like a result of a command line mysql command, while the script is web based.
The script works fine for 6 years, unchanged. I think it must be something else.
Yes, I wanted to submit a trouble ticket but I could not log into my account and I used the password reminder and I received no email. Therefore, I emailed support@dathorn.com in order to get help in order to log into my account (login name: dis-1411) but I got no answer.
I will look back to my script, is there a chance that something got corrupted...and then, if I get back to my account, I will submit a trouble ticket.
For some reason, it was empty, probably corrupted somehow. There was a conf_global.bak in the same directory, 10 days old, I replaced it and it works fine. I don't know if you put it there from a backup or it is generated by the script, but you pointed the solution and this was not a server problem, thank you...
Every e-mail that we receive is responded to, I've not seen anything pertaining to your account. PM me and I can help you get your login info.
Nothing got corrupted. Either someone with access to the account emptied the file or you are running at least one insecure script which was exploited to empty it. Given that many of your forum scripts are dated from 2004, I would tend to guess that them not being updated is the problem.
Something similar happened to me two days ago, and the reason for was the most improbable: everything I uploaded or edited using Filezilla v. 2.2.32 ended up empty up there. Installed Filezilla 3, everything worked as expected. Hated the new interface and lack of features, reinstalled 2.2.32, 0 byte files again. Guess what? After letting my PC cool off for a couple of hours the problem vanished.
Lesson learned 1: pushing your PC for 36 hours in a row does no good, and some software is more fragile than the rest;
Lesson learned 2: back it up. Before...
