    PHP 5 released!!

    People!

PHP 5 has just been released. You can check www.php.net for more info.

By the way, Andrew, PHP5 will be available on Dathorn servers? When?

Agreed. Let's not all rush to stick our heads into the lions mouth.

Lots of my stuff is working fine thanks. Many of the apps I use haven't been updated and tested to work reliably with PHP 5 yet.

            Good!

phpBB 2.0.8 has compatibility issues with PHP5 and will not work.

Although I agree that moving to PHP 5 would be hasty, is it possible to install the SQLite extension for PHP 4 so we can start developing for it now?

              Greatly appreciated!

Sorry, this isn't an option at this time.

We currently don't have any plans to do so. It's still far too new to be used in an environment like this. We'll let the other hosts make the first jump.
