Is AdvancedGuestBook 2.3.2 Safe?

In February 2005 we were warned about security issues in AdvancedGuestBook 2.2. Now version 2.3.2 is on my cPanel under CGI Scripts. Is this newer version safe from those previous vulnerabilities and we can use it without some past fears of being hacked? Thanks for any info.

I had the other version and it got hacked causing site issues however the new version is ok, although it seems to get spammed a WHOLE lot ..... so IA m pulling mine down and will find another script for a guest book.
