i have been very happy with Dathorn, i run my own servers but they are for development and a giant ftp. I know how hard it is to run a secure fast server with good uptime. Even though i could host my own sites now, i prefer to stick with Dathorn, cause i don't have to worry if my sites and email are up.

Thanks Andrew for the great service!

PS: anyone need a few TB of bandwidth for downloads? my servers only use about 20% of their bandwidth every month.

      domains?

Also, I would like to ask it said unlimited domains in the basic plan. So does that mean I can point an unlimited number of domains to my site? I currently have a few domain names.

And I'll be able to add domain names to my site as I go?

How do you find the IMAP server? It's one of the things that I'm looking for as well.

Yes, you can point as many domains as you want to this host. I have about 30 domains, and it certainly is not the limit

You can have as many seperate sites as you can carve out of your alotted space and bandwidth. You can point as many domains as you like to each of those sites.

Yes. Domains to your site(s) and sites to your account.

Seems to work fine, but I only use it for Web mail (including a self-installed SquirrelMail). I believe it's Courier, but without looking I may be corrected.

I have been a customer for a year or 2 (ok can't remember now). Dathorn is not fancy and flashy but has been very stable and reponsive. I actually signed up with a different provider for a month to test it out (Windows and Unix hosting on one acct) but was not as good. Dathorn has very good support and very stable servers from what I have experienced. Andrew has to be strict to keep everyone stable and happy. With the incredible growth that I have witnessed, in my half-assed observations, stability has been very consistant and the servers have been up most of the time. If you need porn and gobs of hits then grow up and get your own server. I am not there yet.

            Thanks
            Dave
