cPanel <> WHM -> Bandwidth difference

When looking at bandwidth stats in cPanel and AWStats, I see that that 98% of
bandwidth has been used. But when looking at my stats in WHM, the statistics show that only 70% has been used.

Why would cPanel and WHM show different bandiwidht usage and which one is real?

Is it possible that cPanel logs the bw prior to mod_gzip and WHM logs bw after the data is compressed?

Is that one domain the only domain on your account and did you give it all the space/bw you have on that account?

Nope, I've got about 40 domains on this account and this domain has a limited 250mb/6gb package.

Double bandwidth in cPanel

Another link from WHT that might help someone else... in my case it only seems that one of the domains was duplicated, so it's probably just part of the problem (:
