Moving domain

I have a two domains created as different accounts in WHM. I would like to consolidate the two accounts into one to share resources and not require separate logins to administer. So, one would go from having its own CPanel account to simply being an addon domain of the other...

Has anyone done this or know if it would cause any issues?

I have done this under WHM for a client within the last 6 months, exactly the same way.

The only issues that needed to be addressed were database moves, along with configurations like paths and user/pass in scripts.

Since both sites already resided on the same server, didnt have to do anything except add the sub-account, moved all the files under a shell prompt, and then exported and imported the databases via a shell also.

once all the files were in place, I made sure the site was working under the sub-somain alias before turning off the old site and all went fantastically well.
