    How to CHMOD 777 . ?

I'm installing x-cart, and one of the instructions is to "chmod 777 ." - that's chmod seven seven seven space period. How do I use cpanel's file manager to chmod a period? I don't see a plain old period in the directory list.

    Thanks,

As Dathorn has SuExec running, the highest you need to CHMOD anything is normally 755.
Try running the files without CHMOD'ing them, see if that works first.

With regards to the period, that isn't needed. Just the 777 or 0777 will do.

Well, it seems to work anyway even though I didn't find a folder or file called . (that's a period) to apply chmod to.
