AW Stats not updating

AW Stats for all domains in my account show "last updated October 13" or something like that, listing completely zero activity since then. Any ideas?

This is occurs when their is not enough free disk space on the domain(s) for the stats data to be written. If this is not the problem please submit a trouble ticket for support.

Ahah! Undeliverable spam goes to a default folder even if the domain name has no email addresses assigned to it!

I found the moral to the story: Don't create a hosting package or account that has email capability if you have no intention of using email on the account.

If you do, you automatically create a folder that will accept all undeliverable mail. The hundreds-per-day spams randomly addressed to AbsolutelyAnything[at]yourdomain[dot]com get routed to this bottomless bit bucket that dumps into and fills up your limited account quickly unless you have specifically set up a blackhole or fail for undeliverable mail.

In my case, these were small, static accounts that were allocated small amounts of space - can fill up fast. I haven't been watching spam arriving to my Dathorn accounts, but in the last ten weeks or so, my university email address very suddenly started taking a real beating with spam - LITERALLY 99 percent of my email has suddenly become meaningless gibberish aimed at accomplishing nothing more than pounding the server. I imagine that we are receiving ten or even a hundred times that amount in randomly generated addresses.

Small accounts can certainly fill up quickly with spam. We always recommend setting the default address to :fail: whenever possible.

That should, actualy, be set as default.

It is the default now but that wasn't the case before.
