    MX Entry for domain

I was looking through some of my webmail accounts and a lot of mail is getting rejected because of an invalid MX Entry.

    See below:

SMTP error from remote mailer after MAIL FROM:<{account}@cpanel13.gzo.com> SIZE=2347:
    host mx01.mail.bellsouth.net [205.152.59.33]:
550 The sender domain must have a valid MX record.

    Currently, the MX Entry is:

    broadbandrangers.com

Should it be mail.broadbandrangers.com? It is primarily happening when I send things to my friend who has a BellSouth account.

Looks like bellsouth maybe doing sender verification. Which isn't that common. Is it? Does cpanel13.gzo.com have an MX record? Nevermind ... I just looked it doesn't. And when did Andrew start using zoneedit.com? Oh...nevermind that's another topic.

Submit a trouble ticket maybe something can be done...doubt it though.

Why are you sending mail from your Admin account? Create one in your domain and use that then you'll not have problems like this.

Using the admin account is alright, I guess, but it gives people your server name and also the account name for your CPanel too which could be a problem.

PHPBB2 is the culprit. People are allowed to choose to receive email notifications upon a reply to a thread. I set the admin email to an account that I created when I originally installed the BB.

But I guess that the autonotify feature is not using that address.
