https redirects to wierd location

Hi all and thanks in advance,

I have set up an account at cpanel40.gzo/~moshe which has domain name moshe.yeda4all.org. When I try to use ssl via: https://moshe.yeda4all.org/, I reach a "conkurent web hosting" page, and the security certificate show hosting4site.net.

Can someone explain to me whats happening?

Unfortunately cPanel doesn't prevent users from installing SSL certificates on shared IP addresses. As a result, someone can accidentally install an SSL certificate on the shared IP. I've removed this for you and have notified the customer in question.

In the future if you submit a ticket for support we can get to this a lot quicker.

a) Thanks for the prompt reply, you mean quicker then this? :-)
b) So, you removed ssl altogether? the reason I wanted it, was to use it on some login forms, not for the authentication function but for the *encryption* function. Any chance we can have ssl (with garbage certificate, ie self-signed)

If you want to use SSL then you need to submit a request for a dedicated IP for the domain and purchase/install an SSL certificate. It is not something that is simply available to you automatically.

We can setup a self-signed certificate for you but it will always prompt a warning in the browser and the domain still must have a dedicated IP. Please submit a ticket.
