    BoxTrapper

I noticed 'BoxTrapper' under the Pro heading within cpanel recently though have no idea how to implement it. When clicking on it all it gives is a description: "Boxtrapper protects your inbox from spam by forcing all people not on your white list to reply to a verifcation email before they can send mail to you. "... not very helpful if i cant use it, hehe.

    Anyone know why this is?

It's an Anti-Spam application. It sends a verify email to anyone not on your white list. Since most spam is automated and come from bogus email addresses, spam doesn't verify and you never see it.

      duh

Where is this boxtrapper located? I can't seem to find it in my cpanel.

Thought I'd give it a try if I can find it.

And how do I switch to the bluelagoon skin?

Mine says cPanelX at the top and all the icons are all on this one page.

When I go to whm, I can change the branding to bluelagoon, which is what it's set on now, but I am unable to change the theme.

Am I just blind or am I missing something?

          Thanks

I found what I was looking for. Thanks

Go to edit packages and change the theme via that.

              BoxTrapper

BoxTrapper is what spam-gate.com is mostly based on. It's a decent application but it has some quirks. For one, make SURE that you don't wind up with blank lines (a line containing one or more blank spaces and nothing else) at the end of your white/black/ignore lists... This seems to match ANYTHING that contains a blank space in it and will seem to BREAK the application. Also, it's a good idea to set your que to hold emails for at least seven days, giving you the opportunity to check contained emails for desired emails. It seems to glitch up every now and again, or sometimes the sender may not get their validation email for some reason.

Over all, it's eliminated MY spams ALMOST totally. And with all of my accounts... I used to get hundreds every day... A blessing for sure!

If you're account has it.... USE IT! And SELL IT TO YOUR CUSTOMERS!!

I found it, but couldn't figure anything out about it. So no, I haven't the foggiest idea how to get it working.

umm... so how do i enable and configure it?

when i click on BoxTrapper from cPanel all it says is:

                      BoxTrapper

Boxtrapper protects your inbox from spam by forcing all people not on your white list to reply to a verifcation email before they can send mail to you.

There is nothing to say enable or configure. Anyone able to help out with this?

IF you don't show a list of your POP3 accounts on that page that you can enter into ...... (which is where the ENABLE / DISABLE stuff is) then you'll have to contact Andrew about that.

I did and he said it's supported in Cpanel Pro only, so we don't get it.

How did you get it rcohen ?
