    disk quota warning email

Has anyone received an automated email stating their disk usage is getting close to the quota even when it's not?

    I'm on cpanel23b.

    Yes.

I did. I had to go through and re-apply the account packages to each account which made the quota bigger.

      disk quota

Yes, I got it too. But there is something fishy about it. For one: it's not correct. I'm well within limits and it doesn't look like an official dathorn warning. ??

its usually automatic from WHM/cPanel for a specific domain name.

Be aware it warns at 80% (which is rather large).

            weirdness

a number of my accounts have blown out there disk space eg - 149mb on a 25mb plan etc. This has occurred in the past day or so and is very fishy.

When i view disk usage through cpanel it shows nothing out of the ordinary - disk usage of about 6mb?

            Also on cpanel23b....

From cpanel summary for one of the problem accounts.....
            Postgresql db: 3/3
            disk usage: 279.71 mb
            disk space available: -254.71 mb
            bandwidth usage current month: 34.27mb

There are no postgresql databases setup on this account. Fishy indeed. Support ticket time.

The "misreporting disk usage" is a common cPanel bug that has been around forever (when exactly are they going to fix it?!)

Submit a trouble ticket to dathorn. They have a script that can fix it.
