    customer having dns/email problems with comcast address

    I have a site for a client that cannot be emailed to by his home comcast.net address. He gets these 24 later bounce backs like so:
    The original message was received at Thu, 20 Oct 2005 12:58:00 -0400
    from mxip16a.cluster1.charter.net [209.225.28.146]

    ----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
    <service@princeton-1.com>

    ----- Transcript of session follows -----
    451 princeton-1.com: Name server timeout
    451 princeton-1.com: Name server timeout
    Message could not be delivered for 1 day
    Message will be deleted from queue
    Anyone have any ideas? I have him emailing his tech support at charter, but I'm honestly not sure how good that support is going to be. I checked the DNS on dnsstuff.com and can't seem to find any problems.

    Not sure what it could be ... I sent a "test" email to the address and I'll let you know if I get a bounce.

      I know it's a stupid question, but does that email address actually exist?

      Have you submitted a support ticket to Dathorn on this one?

        Well, no bounce from me so far, so it may have gone through. It has been just 24 hours, but I'll let you know if it comes back as a bounce later.
