I am in WAY over my head

This is crazy my last hosting company made it very simple for me to get my domains up and running, ftp, and create email accounts. I cannot figure this out and I feel really stupid right now.

I am not a reseller! I got this to host my domains and it is difficult as all hell.

I have 5 domains I am trying to host. Why do I have to create packages? also where is the FTP info? I cannot log into the FTP using WSFTP.

ALso how do I create email accounts? God I know these questions may sound stupid to all of you who know buty I need some serious help, this is affecting my business and I am losing money. I thought it was going to be as easy as my last host I was wrong. AM I missing something? Did I get the wrong account??

          you're welcome

i pm'ed him some links to movie walk throughs of whm and cpanel, thing is they belong to another host so i didn't post them in public in case it wasn't received to well.
Andrew, i know your new support staff has been trained to be more newbie friendly, but maybe some of these movie walkthrough's would be helpfull, sure they're an investment but it would cut down on support time

xelee, i'll happily pm you the links also if you would like.

Actually Andrew's support team does not deal with a client's client (which I think is what is happening here).

Also in the cpanel FAQ i believe there are links to cpanel's tutorials.

Speaking of which, I bought the demodemo Cpanel tutorials, and they come highly recommended. My customers like them.

i forget people use these accounts to run hosting companies, i use them for my own sites, and along with that forget that people's questions here may be for their clients and not themselves.
Kylec confirmed my doubts for not posting the links, thankyou for yelling it in my ear
yeah demodemo is pretty good, if you're setting things up for yourself just do a search on google, the links i pm'ed the thread starter where from google.

I'm hoping this helped then. It definitely brought some issues to light.

Yes it did. I am sure in 6 months I will look back and say how could I not have known this, but a simple tutorial or FAQ on how to get started would really help those of us who run small businesses and are new to the whole web hosting thing.

                          Thanks again
