    GZIP with perl & cgi

Would it be possible to get the mod_gzip module for perl scripts (.pl and .cgi) enabled on dathorn servers? I know that gzip is enabled for php scripts but it would benefit me greatly if it was enabled for .pl and .cgi as there would be an improvement in speed and reduce bandwidth usage.

    Thanks

What server(s) are you on and I'll take a look at the setup.

This should now be setup and hopefully working on cpanel11.

yes, just not for CGI and pl

not a big deal unless your site is heavily based on pl or cgi scripts

unless Andrew changed it on all the servers.

Thanks Kyle. I would prefer to have gzip enabled on cPanel 17 for CGI/Perl as well. Do I need to submit a trouble ticket to have that done?
