Mailing lists are allowed within the limits outlined in our Acceptable Use Policy. phpList is what we recommend and can be installed via Softaculous.
Outdated scripts are not available for install via Softaculous on our servers because they should not be used. OpenNewsletter hasn't been actively maintained since 2016.

No Mailing list apps?
I'm assuming the lack of mailing list software in Softaculous is intentional, and installing something manually is frowned upon?
For example, https://www.softaculous.com/apps/mail/OpenNewsletter ?
