Username Change??

Can I now change the default Username on each of my domains after they have been set up? I'm looking at the "List Accounts" screen in WHM and want to change the "Username" column.

Yes, go to "Modify an Account" under Account Functions.

But if you know, there will be some problems doing that.

I sugest you that recreate the new account.

as he said, it can cause problems, i would recreate the account.

On the old forums, i believe Andrew made an annoucement post requesting that you didn't change usernames as it screwed things up.

Recreate is probably your best option

i have change username once... and the problem come... all email account can't opened using webmail. because changing username will change path of email folder.

solution of this problem is delete every email account, and re-create it...

I know it has been stated here a few times NOT to change the username.
