WHM new accounts dont send out email

Hi, I'm new at this so please excuse my ignorance. I've created an account in WHM but it didn't send out an email to this new accounts' contact email when it was created. Should it do this, if so how can I activate it to do so?

In the account created log it had: "Send to contact email (3) [3]"

Probably because it was never made to send to the contact email specified. It sends an email to your dis-xxxx account. If you FTP into that account your will see account creations etc from WHM emailed to that account.

Yeah, there are all kinds of things that end up in these default accounts as far as mail goes, so I setup a .forward file in my root folder forwarding to a normal POP account that is checked regularly. In fact I had to do this to all the cPanel accounts. Anyone else suggest otherwise?

Now when any script sends an email and it bounces or revisions are made via WHM, I will actually get them instead of them piling up in the default account.

What has everyone else done for this situation?

This is exactly what I need, Cpanel to send me detailed info about created account in plain texet form into my email. I saw few such emails in my dis account and I was satisfied, but then it stoped coming.

I would suggest a 3rd party program to do this for you. IE: CE, MB, WHMAP
